What will you be doing?

The Rescue Runner team looks after our portfolio of properties. Their mission is to solve property issues promptly so we can deliver a great homestay experience to our guests. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who likes to be on the field and think creatively about how we can solve various problems. You will: 

  • Spend your shift attending in-stay guest issues such as leaks, missing amenities and broken items
  • Be our eyes and ears in the field, reporting back on guests concerns
  • Work on a mix of operations and guest experience work, helping us to coordinate our growing number of London guests
  • Be responsive at any time in your shift to react to a changing schedule
  • Help facilitate emergency logistics during your shift, for example delivering keys
  • Use your problem-solving skills performing minor maintenance and diagnostics
  • Recognise and recommend the most cost-effective solutions to guest issues
  • Be out and about in London visiting many areas (zones 1-3)
  • Work a mix of day shifts and evening shifts as well as weekends

What can you bring?

  • A keen interest in an active and exciting, frontline role within a fast-paced startup
  • Practical experience, whether as a handyman or general helper
  • Great communication skills to convey information concisely back to the team and converse with guests, drivers, and everyone in between
  • Experience of shift work
  • Ability to both work within set guidelines as well as think on your feet
